About Jackie

Jackie Kilpatrick is an educator, school leader, curriculum developer, and author with more than 20 years of experience serving children, families, teachers, and schools. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of roles, including science teacher, behavior specialist, instructional coach, athletic director, early childhood director, district science lead, and Assistant Principal.

Her experience across classrooms, school leadership, curriculum development, and student support has given her a deep understanding of how children learn, what teachers need, and how strong systems can create meaningful opportunities for growth. Jackie has spent her career helping students build confidence, supporting educators in strengthening instruction, and partnering with families and school communities to create environments where children can thrive.

Jackie is also the author of Cultivating Childhood Potential, a book that reflects the heart of her work with children, families, and educators. In the book, she explores the importance of strong adult support, safe havens, meaningful opportunities for success, and the presence of other caring adults in helping children grow in confidence, resilience, character, and achievement.

Jackie holds a degree in Physical Education, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a master’s degree in Administration and Supervision. Through Kilpatrick Education, she brings together her work in personalized learning, science education, curriculum development, and family resources with one clear mission: to help children, families, educators, and schools thrive.

A Mission Rooted in Relationships

Jackie’s work is grounded in the belief that children thrive when they are surrounded by strong support, safe environments, meaningful opportunities, and caring adults who believe in their potential. This belief is at the center of her book, Cultivating Childhood Potential, and continues to guide the work of Kilpatrick Education.

Whether she is working with students, families, teachers, or school leaders, Jackie’s approach centers on relationships, trust, clarity, and purpose. She believes education should support the whole child while still maintaining high expectations for academic growth. Children need structure, encouragement, character development, and real opportunities to experience success. Teachers need practical support, clear resources, and coaching that builds confidence rather than adding unnecessary pressure. Families need options, guidance, and learning environments they can trust.

Kilpatrick Education was created from this belief: when children, families, educators, and schools are supported with intention, they are better equipped to grow, lead, and thrive. Through Foundations Learning Community, Elevate Science, curriculum resources, and Cultivating Childhood Potential, Jackie’s mission is to cultivate learning environments where children are known, supported, challenged, and inspired.
